Popeyes president resigns

ATLANTA – Ralph Bower has resigned his position as president-US of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen Inc., the company announced Aug. 5. Bower’s resignation is effective Aug. 8.

“On behalf of everyone at Popeyes, I want to thank Ralph for his contributions over the past six years. Ralph has been an important member of the leadership team that has led the transformation of the company’s performance – improving franchise profitability, remodeling the system, accelerating new unit growth and strengthening our company-restaurant operating competencies,” said Cheryl Bachelder, Popeyes CEO. “Our exceptional people, together with our strong business strategies make me confident that our momentum will continue through this transition of leadership.”

The company has begun a search for Bower’s successor. Bachelder will oversee Bower’s responsibilities during the transition.
