Superior Farms offers will-call service

BOSTON – Superior Farms announced the lamb producer will expand its offerings for orders and pick-ups ahead of Ramadan.
“Lamb is a meat that is a staple at celebrations and feasts around the globe,” said Greg Ahart, vice president of sales. “We recognized that the Boston area has unique needs and we are able to service these customers, providing great flexibility to get lamb on the menu and in the market.”
Halal-certified lamb products will be available for individuals as well as local chefs and meat market owners who buy direct. Davis, Calif.-based Superior Farms is a leading North American processor and marketer of lamb products.
“Boston is well suited to this type of transaction,” Ahart added. “They are small enough to be very flexible for customers, but have our marketing and supply support as the largest lamb supplier in the US.”
