Carl's Jr.'s Bacon Ranch Fries.

CARPINTERIA, Calif. – Ketchup just won't do for Carl's Jr.'s new side of fries.

The chain is trading the traditional condiment for bacon and dressing on its Bacon Ranch Fries. The natural cut, skin-on potatoes are topped with buttermilk ranch dressing and bacon crumbles. Bacon Ranch Fries are available for $2.49 and customers can order them as an upgraded side item to any combo meal.

Carl's Jr. is offering a free small Coke with the purchase of Bacon Ranch Fries as a limited-time offering.
