LISLE, Ill. – John Morrell Food Group Foodservice has a new menu innovation platform to offer restaurants and food providers. The company is a subsidiary of Smithfield Foods Inc.

The company's MenuQuest program offers culinary expertise to assist foodservice providers with menu innovation and culinary consultation. John Morrell launched the program during a special event held at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Five tasting stations at the launch event showed MenuQuest in action. Chef Mike Wales developed menu and drink pairings.

"We are extremely excited to launch the new MenuQuest platform," said Beth Sharkey, marketing manager, John Morrell Food Group.
