Tyson chairman sells shares for $12.9M

SPRINGDALE, Ark.– John H. Tyson, chairman of the board at Tyson Foods, Inc., sold 336,895 shares of stock on March 3, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The average price of the shares was $38.56 at the time of the sale, netting Tyson $12,990,671.20. Tyson still owns 1,868,160 shares of the company's stock, which are valued at approximately $72 million.

Wonder if that was after Tyson was awarded the government contract? That is a lot of profit for anyone person to pocket. Maybe he could see lowering the prices he charges to help out some of the 99%? Just saying maybe he is flaunting abuse of the citizens who have supported him.
