Hormel launches foodservice FUSE Burger

AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Foods' foodservice division is offering a better-for-you burger with a twist.

The Hormel FUSE Burger combines ground turkey, spinach, brown rice, roasted onions, celery, dried cherries and other seasonings. The burger is all-natural and comes fully cooked. Hormel is promoting the FUSE Burger as a high-flavor alternative to a traditional beef burger, and as a great option for a breakfast sandwich or side item. The burger is 190 calories with 9 total fat grams and 16 grams of protein.

"The Hormel FUSE Burger offers an easy way to deliver a menu option that customers can feel good about, while at the same time differentiating the menu with something that is unique and unexpected," the company touts on its website promoting the burger.
