Hormel announces personnel changes

AUSTIN, Minn. – Hormel Foods Corp. announced the retirement of four executives and promotions for four employees at the company.

• Bryan Farnsworth, vice president of quality management, will advance to the position of senior vice president - supply chain, effective March 3. He succeeds William Snyder who is retiring.

• Lawrence Lyons, director of human resources, will advance to the position of vice president of human resources, effective March 3. He succeeds David Juhlke.

• Donald Temperley, director - pork operations and procurement, will advance to the position of vice president of operations - grocery products, effective April 28. He succeeds Michael Devine.

• Richard Carlson, vice president of quality management at Jennie-O Turkey Store, will advance to vice president of quality management, effective March 3.

“Thank you to Bill, Dave and Mike for their long-term careers at Hormel Foods,” said Jeffrey Ettinger, chairman of the board, president and CEO at Hormel Foods. “We greatly appreciate their leadership and wish each of them the best in their retirements.”
