JERSEY CITY, NJ – Step aside, men. Liberty Prime Steakhouse located in the heart of Jersey City debuted on Oct. 14 and unlike every other steakhouse – this one is priding itself on its female-friendly concept.

Liberty Prime features a menu and atmosphere that the company calls female friendly, without losing the traditional steakhouse experience. "We want to cater to women with specialized menu items…and to anyone else who enjoys a good steak. We cater to steak-loving women in the same way we cater to steak-loving men – everyone gets the options they expect," said owner George Makrogiannis.

Liberty Prime's menu is themed Rare Fashion, and will feature dishes such as the Tropical Mini Skirt Steak and the Rare Style, a 16-oz. filet mignon with a 4-oz. lobster tail, among other offerings. Dozens of dishes have been created with the modern woman in mind, all perfectly-sized portions, the company claims. Traditional, larger cuts of meat will also be available.

"The belief is that steak and steakhouses can be fashionable in the same way that other foods and restaurants can," George said. This sense of fashion is reflected through the décor as well as the menu, he concluded.
