Provisur names vp Global Product Management

CHICAGO – Brian Perkins was named vice president, Global Product Management, for Provisur Technologies, Inc.
Perkins will plan and direct all aspects of Provisur's product management and marketing strategies, initiatives, policies and objectives. He also will lead product development and provide strategic and tactical leadership across product lines.
"Brian is a senior executive who has shown exemplary leadership in the industry," said Mel Cohen, CEO and president of Provisur Technologies. "Brian's expertise in capital equipment technology and innovation will make a critical contribution to the growth of Provisur as we develop new products to meet our customers' evolving needs."
Perkins has more than 20 years of management experience in the manufacturing sector, according to the company. Before joining Provisur, he was general manager for the Canning Systems Business Unit at John Bean Technologies Corp. in Madera, Calif. He also worked in various sales, marketing and business management positions in the company's Airport Ground Support and Citrus Systems business units.
Perkins earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Syracuse Univ., and a Master of International Management degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
