WESTFIELD, Wis. – Brakebush Brothers announced the acquisition of Irvine, Texas-based Trinity Valley Foods and its two production facilities, a move that will broaden Brakebush's chicken line.

Westfield, Wis.-based Brakebush specializes in fully cooked value-added chicken products for foodservice, chain and industrial markets. Trinity Valley Foods is a further-processor of raw, sized, marinated and ready-to-cook chicken products. The acquired company's customer base consists of national and regional restaurant chains, which could provide new markets for Brakebush products.

"We're two like-minded companies who share the same set of values and quality expectations," said Carl Brakebush, president. "With no duplication in our product offerings, our new portfolio satisfies nearly every fully cooked and ready-to-cook chicken product our combined customer bases need."
