Provisur names new sales manager

CHICAGO – James Petersen was named Provisur’s North American sales manager for the company’s Formax Forming, TST and Weiler product lines, Provisur announced on Dec. 3.
In his new role, Petersen will lead a team of account managers in driving growth among existing and new customers and expanding the Provisur brands in regions throughout North America, the company said.
“Jim is committed to helping our customers improve their line efficiency and profitability. We’re confident that his experience and proven leadership will enable Provisur and its customers to grow their respective businesses,” says Russ Stroner, director of sales with Provisur’s Americas business unit.
Most recently, Petersen was Southeastern Account Manager at Provisur. He was responsible for developing and maintaining key accounts in a newly-created territory comprised of six southeastern states. Before joining the company in 2011, Petersen was Southeastern Regional Sales Manager at CVP Systems, Inc. in Downers Grove, Ill. He has also worked in sales and marketing and business development for Bettcher Industries and its subsidiary, Gainco, Inc.
