Pilgrim's workers vote for union at Alabama plant

RUSSELVILLE, Ala. – Employees at a Pilgrim’s Pride plant in Russelville, Ala. voted to unionize, according to The Associated Press.

Union leaders with the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union said workers at the poultry plant voted 706 to 292 to join the union. The plant employs about 1,200.
