DAVIS, Calif. – Colorado Boxed Beef Company (CBBC), will handle customer service, sales and delivery of Superior Farms brand lamb and veal as part of an extended partnership between the two companies, Superior Farms announced on April 16.

CBBC is a Florida-based distributor of protein and other food products for the Southern US market, which puts the company in an ideal location to serve customers in Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, the Carolinas, the Caribbean, and other international markets, according to Superior Farms.

"The transfer of distribution into the hands of CBBC will enable Superior Farms to benefit from continued success on the East coast," said Ed Jenks, president and chief executive officer, Superior Farms. "Through our state-of-the-art processing facilities and nationwide distribution network, customers in Florida and the South will benefit from the freshest product available on the market, combined with the hands-on service of regional representation and distribution."

Privately held Colorado Box Beef Co. specializes in beef, pork, poultry, lamb, veal, seafood, cheese, lunch meat and a variety of fresh, frozen and dry products. CBBC customers include independent and chain retailers, cruise lines, foodservice distributors, and other companies throughout the US and abroad. The company also has expertise in purchasing, sales, marketing, distribution and logistics for the food industry.

"Our entire team is excited about offering high quality lamb and veal products to our customers while enhancing the delivery services for Superior Farms," said John Rattigan, president and CEO, Colorado Boxed Beef Co.
