GOLDEN, Colo. – Boston Market Corporation has appointed Sara Rosenberg Bittorf to the newly established position of chief brand officer. Most recently serving as vice president of marketing for Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bittorf will begin her new role on April 9 and report to George Michel, chief executive officer. Bittorf was also employed by Burger King Corporation for 12 years.

“[Bittorf] brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from both the corporate and agency sides of the business, and we look forward to watching her guide the Boston Market brand to even greater heights in its position as a leader in the fast casual restaurant industry,” Michel said.

Boston Market recently reported 17 consecutive months of increased comp sales. The company attributes the sales success to a 2011 nationwide rollout of upgrades and new menu items.
