IRVINE, Calif. – Wienerschnitzel is once again offering its 99-cent Original Chili Dog deal, which will be available until Jan. 22. The company said this promotion will be the first of many components of its 2012 marketing campaign that will focus on the brand’s authenticity and company history.

This year, company founder John Galardi will be the face of the brand. Galardi will share stories from Wienerschnitzel’s early days and promote food deals, starting with the 99-cent Original Chili Dog promotion in a series of commercials.

The company claims to serve more than 120 million hot dogs annually. Irvine, Calif.-based Wienerschnitzel operates or franchises 350 stores in 10 states and Guam. It is part of Galardi Group, which is the parent company of The Hamburger Stand and Tastee Freez LLC.
