Weekend wind storm damages Tyson chicken farm

MACON, Ga. – According to a report from 13WMAZ in Macon, a number of poultry houses maintained by a Tyson Foods chicken producer in the county were damaged Jan. 21 after the area was hit by a storm packing high winds. Henry Overholt’s farm holds up to 26,000 birds under contract with Tyson, some of which were lost in the storm. Photos and video footage of the damage was posted on the 13WMAZ website. (VIDEO)
