ATLANTA – Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has launched its new Garlic Pepper Wicked Chicken for a limited time only. The Garlic Pepper Wicked Chicken with Cajun fries, a buttermilk biscuit, Garlic Pepper Parmesan Dipping Sauce and a mini bottle of Tabasco-brand pepper sauce is being offered for $3.99 through Feb.19.

Garlic Pepper Wicked Chicken includes thin strips of marinated, all white-meat chicken, hand-battered and breaded. Popeyes is also introducing its new Garlic Pepper Parmesan Dipping Sauce.

"Popeyes fans have experienced, and loved, the crazed Wicked Chicken for the past two years, and the success of the product sparked the idea to expand on the flavor varieties," said Dick Lynch, chief global brand officer.

Popeyes, a division of AFC Enterprises Inc., operates 2,034 operating restaurants in the US, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Cayman Islands and 26 foreign countries.
