ConAgra OKs share repurchase authorization

OMAHA – ConAgra Foods Inc.’s board of directors approved a $750 million hike to the company’s share repurchase authorization, featuring no expiration date. The company indicated that shares are expected to be repurchased periodically during several years through open-market or privately negotiated transactions.

Cash generated from operations is expected to fund the repurchases.

ConAgra brands include Banquet, Chef Boyardee, Healthy Choice, Hebrew National, Marie Callender’s and Slim Jim, among others
