California Pizza Kitchen opens third restaurant in India

LOS ANGELES – California Pizza Kitchen Inc. (CPK), has built its third restaurant in India. Opened by CPK franchise partner JSMGGC India Pvt. Ltd., a joint-venture between Mumbai-based JSM Corporation and Dubai-based Gourmet Gulf Company, it is located in Malad, a suburb located directly north of Mumbai.
The 3,750 sq.-ft. restaurant seats approximately 150 people and will open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Of the chain's 266 restaurants, 205 are company-owned and 61 operate under franchise or license agreements. There are currently 36 restaurants located internationally in China, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, South Korea, Guam, India, Indonesia and United Arab Emirates.
