DALLAS – While celebrating its 2010 General Managers Convention at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel, Taco Bueno presented its “Product Vendor of the Year” award to Fayetteville, Ark.-based Tyson Mexican Original.

“Mexican Original’s long track-record of quality and innovation makes us proud of our longstanding partnership,” said John Miller, president of Taco Bueno.

“Taco Bueno’s emphasis on freshly-prepared Mexican food is a natural fit with Tyson’s flour tortillas,” said Clark Mormon, national account sales manager for Tyson Mexican Original. “We truly value our relationship and are honored to be selected for the award.”

Each year Taco Bueno gives the award to the product provider that delivered the most outstanding performance in the year prior to the conference. Previous winners of the honor include Ruiz Foods, Vaughn Foods and Chefco Foods.

Taco Bueno is a Mexican quick-service restaurant concept operating almost 190 locations in Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
