Koch Equipment promotes Kingeter to c.e.o.

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Steve Kingeter has been promoted from president of Koch Equipment L.L.C. to president and chief executive officer by the company’s board of directors.

“In his role as president since 2007, Steve has been very instrumental in developing the company’s core offerings and has also done a remarkable job of leading the business through the economic downturn,” said chairman and owner John Starr. “He brings extremely valuable qualities to the table and I entrust in his ability to drive our organization to the next level. This promotion is well deserved and is a formal recognition of leadership responsibility he has been carrying for some time. I will continue my role in the company as chairman of the board of directors.”

Joining Koch Equipment in 1997, he has held several company positions including product line manager, general sales manager, vice president of sales and marketing and most recently, president. He was responsible for the 2006 launch of Koch Equipment’s sister company, Ultravac Solutions L.L.C., which is currently going through its third physical expansion and has also led the company through the development of several new product lines.

Koch Equipment is a full line manufacturer and distributor of equipment for meat production, food processing, packaging and labeling.
