Gracie’s West on Main recently took bacon to the max with a seven-course bacon tasting menu. The hardwood-smoked bacon used for the event was sourced locally in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

For $53 per person, participants were served all the bacon-centric dishes they could handle.

The tasting menu featured bacon confit served with bacon caramelized onions fondant potatoes; hickory-smoked bacon, bell pepper and onion kabobs; bacon biscuits with bacon butter and bacon jam; fried bacon and potato croquettes; clams with bacon, white wine, lemon juice and parsley; a bacon porchetta with a whole side of bacon surrounding a herb mushroom stuffing and served over bacon mashed potatoes and bacon thyme gravy; and for dessert: a bacon root beer float topped with a caramelized bacon tuile.
